The Department of National Defense on Tuesday said it has not allotted any budget for projects under the controversial Philippine-US Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement for 2015, citing the pending case questioning its constitutionality before the Supreme Court. It also said the Philippine government has yet to conduct formal talks with US officials regarding agreed locations that American troops can access under the agreement, which was signed last April hours before US President Barack Obama's two-day visit to the country.
