Trough of LPA affecting Mindanao; Northeast Monsoon prevails over Luzon

A trough of a low-pressure area is affecting southern Mindanao, even as the Northeast Monsoon is prevailing over extreme northern Luzon, state weather forecaster said Friday morning.
