Budget Secretary Florencio Abad hinted Monday at a possible increase in government workers' salaries before President Benigno Aquino III steps down in 2016. For 2015, in lieu of a wage hike, the Budget Secretary said the national government is planning to give a month’s worth of performance-based bonus to its workers, which is practically equivalent to a 14th month pay.
