Former Beauty queen Ma. Isabel Lopez and her daughter Mara were among those who joined the protest rally in Luneta against the pork barrel system and term extension of elected officials. "You don't need to be a beauty queen to be aware of what is happening in the country. Everybody should stand up, kahit mahirap, kahit mayaman," said Mara. "I pay my taxes pero nakikita ko pa rin yung masasamang kalsada, situation of the poor," she added.
