Palace: Troops safe but still committed to peacekeeping mission

A Palace Official on Sunday confirmed that Pinoy peacekeepers who were earlier embroiled in a seven-hour firefight with Syrian rebels have been moved to a more secure location. Despite the attack on Filipino troops, the country assured the international community that it is not abandoning its role as a member of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force.
