Water allocation of Metro Manila households to be cut come July 1, but relief in sight

Metro Manila households will experience a reduction in their water allocation starting July 1 as the water level at Angat Dam goes down by a daily average of 27 to 30 centimeters, but authorities said relief may come very soon because they expect rain to replenish the dam in the rainy months. The two cubic meters per second cut in the water allocation is equivalent to 860,000 drums of water a day.
